I grew up in Dorset and have lived most of my adult life in Hampshire. I am married to Lynne, and we have been together for 26 years. We have 2 sons and 3 grandchildren.
My working life began as a Primary school teacher before transferring to work in the social care sector in learning disability services. It was while I was employed as a Pastoral Worker for the Methodist Forces Board in a Naval Chaplaincy that I felt called to the ministry. I trained for the Methodist Ministry at the Queen's Foundation in Birmingham. Trinity Church in Totton will be my Probationary appointment. I have a half time appointment for health reasons.
I enjoy taking our dog, Hope, for walks that finish at coffee shops, especially ones where I can sit and look at the sea! I also enjoy growing vegetables and doing jigsaws.
