Hedge End's Toy Service

Hedge End Methodist Church held their Toy Service on Sunday 26th November and the response from the congregation was truly amazing. John wished to thank everyone who gave so generously and is sure that those who receive the gifts will be blessed by your giving.

The toys have been delivered to SCRATCH (Southampton City and Region Action to Combat Hardship). The charity aim to provide toys and gifts to children and young people who might otherwise go without presents and whose families are referred by trusted referral agents.

In December 2022 they were able to provide a parcel of presents to 2762 children and young people. That is an increase of 21% from the previous year. Hopefully this year they will be able to provide even more parcels of presents.
