Jenny the Senior Church Steward at Hedge End Methodist Church was presented with the ROCHA Silver Award certificate by Rev Andrew de Ville, Chair of the Southampton Methodist District, when he led the morning service on Sunday 2nd October 2022. The plaque has been ordered and will be put on display once it arrives.
Andrew and Jenny thanked all those who are part of the Eco Team and others who assisted in working towards this award.
Rev John Hughes, the minister at Hedge End also praised the dedicated team for their endeavours and for the encouragement that they give to members at the church to be able to make changes in their own lifestyle to assist in protecting our planet.
